Overview of our Programmes and Programme Objectives

Our youth and women wellbeing programmes are run in a farm environment, using horse activities, farm experience and mentoring.
In the programmes, small groups of participants attend
 weekly sessions

teamed up with one of our friendly, supportive buddy's.

Sessions include horse activities designed to build self confidence, leadership, empathy, communication, problem solving and teamwork, as well as practical horse and farm maintenance skills. Participants learn about self and others and increase overall physical, mental and
emotional wellbeing, with the support of mentors, out in the natural environment.

Outcomes that we measure via self-assessment, parent, social worker or teacher, are improvements in self-esteem, confidence, leadership, managing emotions, patience, problem solving, communication, empathy, practical skills and job readiness.
